Kriens Prison

Bane transformed the grey courtyards of the Grosshof correctional facility in Kriens LU into colorful natural worlds. The large-format 3D murals bring light and depth to the severely restricted space. The artist knows from his own experience what effect bare prison walls have. This makes his art all the more effective here as a sign of change, dignity and new perspectives. The nature motif is intended to restore quality of life to the inmates and enhance the courtyard with painted green spaces.
